Lewis Wind Power was established to develop a wind farm on the Isle of Lewis. The company is a joint venture between AMEC and EDF Energy, bringing with them a huge amount of experience in the renewable sector. Lewis Wind Power is working in partnership with the Stornoway Trust, the community owned trust, which owns the site that has been chosen for the Stornoway Wind Farm. This combination is one that we believe will best serve the area, delivering a scheme that provides economic benefits whilst being mindful of the importance of preserving the environment and traditional ways of life on Lewis.
